BLUE on the TAROT CARDS

When the colour blue is seen within a Tarot card it denotes a time of reflection, using the mind productively and healing the soul.  Blue seen in Tarot cards is a positive expression.

Because blue is amiable and eager to express itself, The Magician carries the tones of blue, as does the The High Priestess.

BLUE FOODS

Blue food is not a common occurrence in nature (aside from blueberries and blue-purple potatoes) and does not exist in significant quantities as a natural food colour, therefore we do not have an automatic appetite response to the colour blue.  Our primal nature also tends to avoid ‘warning colours’ as our early ancestors foraging for food considered blue, purple and black foods to be potentially lethal.

Blue foods are generally various types of berries and also include seaweed and some white fish, veal, asparagus, potatoes, plums, billberries and blueberries.

Of all the colours in the spectrum, the colour blue is an appetite suppressant.  When looking to lose weight, place your food on a blue plate, store your food in blue containers and even change the fridge lightbulb to a blue one.  Blue lighting can also be used in the dining area for the same reason.

The Vibration and Energy of Colour

From an exoteric perspective, colour is a vibration of light and what we see is a reflection of that essence  -  revealed in a wide variety of hues.  Colour is an integral part of our existence and we are surrounded by it constantly.

Colour has played a major significance throughout the world and throughout the ages.  Ancient cultures worshipped the Sun and its healing powers and looked upon yellow as a warm, inspirational colour. Thoth the Egyptian god (known to the Greeks as Hermes) taught of colours and their healing properties, and both the Egyptian and Greek physicians used different coloured ointments and salves as remedies, and practised in treatment rooms painted in healing shades.

Colours influence our moods, our energy and health, our environment and our personalities. Colours have been used therapeutically (Colour Healing, Chromotherapy) as far back as the Ancient World can be traced throughout human history.

Even those who are visually impaired are able to perceive the vibratory rate of colours, whether in their mind’s eye or through the sense of feel, sound and/or smell.

The reasons we subconsciously select one colour over another may have psychological implications that transcend conscious awareness, as colour carries archetypal elements dating back to antiquity.

COLOURS WITHIN THE AURA

COLOURS of the AURA

If the colours in the Aura are clear, it is an indication that the person is leaning the Spiritual lessons that they came to the earth plane to learn.  When the colours are cloudy it is an indication that the lessons are not being learned and that maybe the person is actually moving away from those lessons.  If the colours are murky in some areas of the body, it can mean that an illness has, or is about to manifest, in that particular part of the body.

Violet is Spiritual power.
Indigo is Intuition.
Blue is Inspiration.
Green is Energy or Supply.
Yellow is Wisdom.
Orange is Health.
Red is Life.

RED

Being the first basic colour tone for those presently on the earth plane, and this is including a number of different shades of this colour, this basic colour indicates a person who has stayed close to the earth and has been materially centered with an excessive ambition for power.

Red is a hot energy and a vibrant colour.

Red is at the bottom of the scale and is predominantly the physical colour. Being the colour of life, it denotes strength and vitality.  It is the colour of the deepest human emotions and suggests the deepest passions of  love, hate and revenge.

Cloudy reds are an indication of greed and cruelty.

Bright reds tell of generosity and praiseworthy enterprises.  Too much red or muddiness can reflect over-stimulation, inflammation or imbalance.

Crimson suggests leaning towards sensuality.

Deep Scarlet signifies lust.

PINK

A person with a lot of pink in their Aura always indicates a very loving and giving person, and it also tells of a quiet, refined and modest type of person. Pink in the aura denotes a quiet, refined and modest type of person and it is a colour that is seldom seen in a dogmatic type of person.  Lots of pink in the aura signifies a person with great lasting devotion.  It is the colour of compassion, love and purity.

Deep rose pink is the symbol of unselfish or unconditional love.

Muddy pink reflects immaturity.

ORANGE

Orange expresses the vital force or energy of the sun.  The strong orange suggests a person who is very energetic, active and vital.  These people can dominate others purely by the force of their vitality.

Muddy orange reflects worry and vanity.

Ancient writers regarded orange as being expressive of wisdom and reasoning powers and saw people with this colour as being well balanced individuals.

YELLOW

Yellow is the fourth basic colour tone, but is one that is rarely seen.  When seen, it is an indication of those who have achieved the goal of escape from the wheel of rebirth on the earth plane, and have returned to offer Spiritual food to their brothers.  These individuals can be assumed to have voluntarily taken on the limitations and restrictions of earth life in order to perform a particular Spiritual path for the upliftment of mankind.

Yellow can be equated to the God realization or Christ consciousness of these individuals who have turned back to earth to radiate the Light of their Spirituality on their brothers who are still in need of assistance.

Yellow (except for the muddier shades) is a good aspect in the aura.  Yellow symbolizes thought and mental concentration. When this colour dominates, it indicates strong intellect.

Bright golden yellow suggests a depth of Spiritual qualities. Yellow rays have the power to dispel fear and worry.  Yellow has a tonic element for certain forms of nervousness and is stimulating to health and mind.

Pale yellow suggests a highly spirited, as well as thoughtful person.

Deep muddier yellow indicates one who is over critical, dogmatic and feels deprived of recognition.

GOLD

Gold is seldom seen and is indicative of an exceedingly exulted state of attainment and perfection.  Gold around the head and shoulders also indicates a Healer.

Gold is a colour that reflects Spiritual energy and a true coming into one’s own power.

Muddy shades of gold suggests that the person is still in the process of awakening the higher aspirations.

GREEN

Green is the second basic colour tone, and is the colour most commonly seen in the Aura.  It is the colour of growth and learning and the depth of colour gives an indication of how the person is learning and the growth that has been attained.

Green in the Aura is a good sign, as it usually indicates individualism, regeneration, energy and supply.  It governs the mental realm and indicates a multitude of ideas.  It reflects growth, sympathy and calm and can denote a person who is reliable, dependable and open minded.

Blue is the Spiritual colour and suggest inspiration.

Blue also suggests loyal friends and sincere people.

Darker shades of blue denote Spiritual qualities.

Royal blue suggests loyalty and good judgement.

PURE WHITE

Pure white is not often seen on anyone who walks the earth plane.  White is an indication of a highly exalted being and this was the pure colour in which Jesus walked.  Where white is shown in parts of the Aura, this indicates a striving for protection.

MAUVE

Mauve is fairly uncommon, for it indicates a soul trying to grow extremely quickly.  In order to help the process of turning the attention away from the physical level, many of these souls have decided to endure a greater burden of physical pain and discomfort than they would normally be expected to take on.

INDIGO

Indigo in the Aura shows a high degree of Spirituality, integrity and deep sincerity.  Wisdom and saintliness are also represented by the darker blue auras.

VIOLET

Violet is another colour that is rarely seen in the Aura.  It is the colour of the initiate and hardly belongs on the earth plane, but rather to the highest sphere of Spiritual beings.  Its presence in the Aura denotes true greatness and worthiness.

The ultra-violet indicates a highly Spiritual and illuminated personality. Violet is seldom seen in the average aura.  It is a highly spiritual colour and the paler and lighter shads of violet reflect humility and Spirituality.

Muddier shades of violet can reflect an intense erotic imagination.  Also one who has a tendency to be overbearing.

Magenta in the Aura represents change linked to synchronicity, meaning that you will be at the right place at the right time.

In the Aura, magenta is often located around the head, feet and hands, but can sometimes be seen under the arms and down the legs.

AQUA

Aqua in the Aura denotes a Healing Teacher, or someone empowered with healing skills.  It is not commonly seen in an Aura, but its presence is due to a person’s natural God given talents, or from skilled training.

Pale aqua indicates that the person is striving to fulfill their soul’s vocation, but that the path is unclear.  The colour usually appears around the hands and wrists.

BROWN

The darker colours of brown do not reflect the lighter vibration of the lighter colours, but this colour denotes the capacity for organization and orderly management.

It is the colour of the down-to-earth and the businessman, and is the starting point of ambition and power, both material and commercial. These people do not show strong emotional feelings or tendencies.

When a dark shade of brown is across the face or touching the head it may indicate a lack of, and a need for discrimination.  If seen in the area of the Chakras it indicates that these centres need to be cleaned, otherwise the brown will clog the energies.

The lighter shades of brown indicate avarice in the person.

GREY

Grey in various degrees is found in the Aura of people who have an inborn love of convention, formality and possess a ‘red-tape’ mind.  They do not see anything as simple.  It can indicate a lack of imagination and a tendency towards narrow-mindedness.

Lots of grey in the Aura shows a person who is secretive and a ‘lone wolf’ type.

Very light grey suggests fears, and when seen in the Aura, these fears can manifest as illnesses.

The darker shades of grey indicate physical imbalances, especially if seen near specific areas of the physical body.

Pale grey indicates a person who is the victim of poor decision making.  It suggests one who may feel trapped by their decisions, such as relationships etc.

Charcoal grey denotes depression and suffocation of energy.  When teamed with pink it indicates suicidal tendencies.  When teamed with maroon is shows the person is overcoming the situation.

BLACK

Black in the aura plays many roles and can be a defensive vibration when you are fearful of others.  Black is often seen in the Auras of abused children, divorcees, torture victims, refugees and drug abusers.  It can indicate damage to the emotions, to the self-esteem and to the organs of the body.

Black does contain all colours and is always associated with ‘dark deeds’ -   can be vicious and evil.  It does indicate discord and evil and the worst indication being of a ‘lost soul’.  (Lots or negation of all good.)

In the most devilish of deplored souls, the Aura can sometimes be seen with a crimson-red glow in the black, and this is the most vicious combination of evil known.

SILVER STREAKED

Silver streaks in the Aura shows a volatile and lovely, but unreliable personality.  These people are often dabblers in all trades and professions, but masters of none.  Where silver predominates, be on your guard.

SILVER TWINKLES

Almost always, silver twinkles is a sign of creativity and fertility.  Where they appear within the Auric field, it is an indication of creativity being activated in the person’s life.

These twinkles are always present around pregnant women, and women who have delivered a child within the last six to nine months.  They are often seen around grandmothers.

It must be remembered that not everyone who has twinkles around them has had children recently.

THE AURA

Colour can be constructive or destructive.  It can attract or repel, stimulate or depress and when seen in the Aura, is the key to the personality, mood and health of the individual.  It also reflects the Spiritual and physical aspects, as each colour has a general characteristic and it must be remembered that each shade of that colour changes that characteristic a little.

The location of colour, intensity and even the form the colour takes in the Auric field, must be considered.

BODIES OF THE AURA

The Etheric Body is the first layer.  It has the same structure as the physical body, including all the anatomical parts and organs.  The web-like structure of the etheric body is in constant motion and to the clairvoyant vision, sparks of bluish-white light move along its energy-lines throughout the entire physical body

It extends from one quarter of an inch to two inches from the physical body.

The Emotional Body is the second layer and is associated with feelings.  Its structure is more fluid than the etheric, and it does not duplicate the physical, but instead roughly follows the outline of the physical body.

It appears to be coloured clouds of fine substance in continual fluid motion and extends from one inch to three inches from the physical body.

The Mental Body is the third layer.  It extends beyond the emotional body and is composed of still finer substances, all of which are associated with thought and mental processes.

This body usually appears as a bright yellow light radiating about the head and shoulders and extending around the whole body. It extends three to eight inches from the physical body.

The Astral Body is the fourth layer.  It is morphous  -  that is, lacking definite shape, and is composed of clouds of colour, more beautiful than those of the emotional body.

The Astral body usually has the same set of colours as the emotional body, but they are mostly infused with the rose colour of Love.

This body extends from six to twelve inches from the physical body.

The Etheric Template Body is the fifth layer, and is so called because if contains all the forms that exist on the physical plane in a ‘blueprint’ form.

It looks rather like the negative of a photograph. It is the blueprint or perfect form for the etheric layer to take and it extends from one and a half to two feet from the physical body.

The Celestial Body is the sixth layer and is the emotional level of the Spiritual plane.  It is the level through which we experience Spiritual ecstasy and can be reached through deep meditation and it extends two to two and a half feet from the physical body.

The Ketheric Body or Causal Body is the seventh layer.  This is the mental level of the Spiritual plane.

When we bring our consciousness to this level, we know we are at one with the Creator.  It extends from two and a half to three and a half feet from the physical body.
